The 2018 AFSCME California PEOPLE Convention will be held on March 17th through the 19th,  2018 at the Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown Arena – 300 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. 

This biennial convention not only includes official business voted on by delegates, but also a number of workshops, plenary sessions, special guests and legislative lobbying visits. While only delegates are able to vote on officail business, we encourage AFSCME members throughout California to attend as non-delegates and participate in the workshops, plenary sessions and discussions. 

All attendees are asked to complete and submit a registration form (found here) so that we can plan accordingly.  Please complete the information by February 16, 2018.

A block of rooms will be held in AFSCME’s name until Friday, February 16, 2018. The cost for these rooms is $138 plus a 12% occupancy tax and a 3% city tax. The total rate with taxes included is $158.70.
